Meat VS Potatoes : Pork
Meat Vs Potatoes is where we compare meat vs plant based meals.
Why? Because most animal products in the United States today come from poor toxic conditions.
For the health of our planet and our bodies we should try to source local sustainable natural foods .
Food availability varies by the season and region , but if we all make efforts we can make a better tomorrow.
One of the goals is to show the power of plants. I understand the pros and cons of the different diets, but the key to it all is balance.
Try new things, for me, the variety helps keep the balance. I have learned so many new flavors by cooking and ordering food i haven't experienced.
Today we are looking at Pork.
There is an abundance of information on the horrible conditions the animals live in, what they are fed, and how our bodies process it. Use your search engine to find out more on why you should care where your bacon comes from..
Find the recipe below
Comparing the two recipes, they tasted really similar. the biggest difference being the texture of the pork vs the tempeh . The pork had a dense flesh texture, cannibals compare it to human flesh. The tempeh had a bean cake texture, it was cool. I definitely will try more tempeh recipes. According to the internets, tempeh has a better nutritional profile than tofu.. so theres that also haha
